about the project

Raleys flagship center echoes its past while embracing its home in South Land Park. Drawing from the former nursery site, the landscape proposal weaves mid-century elements of South Land Park with Land Park tudor charm into a modern aesthetic. Linear beds that mimic the former Capital Nursery site are filled with colorful drought tolerant plantings, along sculptural shade trees to greet visitors. Throughout the center, gabion and breeze block walls frame gathering areas, supported by swathes of grasses and succulents.
